LCN 94 Seen On TV (COM6/Arqiva B)

After only 12 days of broadcasting, this channel fell off air this afternoon and is currently displaying a message replacing the usual broadcasts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is not an MHEG or a HbbTV slate, the message is actually carried on the video stream.

The video and audio streams are still present but no audio is being broadcast.

Seen On TV launching on channel 94 is an interesting development as the channel seems to have taken over the old EarthxTV channel lock, stock and barrel but, seemingly, not with the LCN. This probably came as a surprise to the Seen On TV team who had publicised a launch on Freeview channel 79.

Coming Soon: 

Seen On TV have announced that they will be launching at 10am on Wednesday 12th June.

They will be on channel 79 on Freeview, which probably explains the current lack of service from Earthx TV on that channel.

Update: Ultimately, Seen On TV launched on channel 94 rather than the previously publicised channel 79. However, Seen On TV uses the same Service ID as EarthxTV, so there was possibly some sort of arrangement to buyout EarthxTV's franchise on SDN in order to launch on Freeview.
